Stenbock House, 13 April 2016 - Prime Minister Taavi Rõivas met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Andrei Galbur today. Prime Minister Rõivas expressed support for Moldova's European aspirations at the meeting. Rõivas encouraged Moldova to continue with the implementation of vital reforms, whether it is concerned with the fight against corruption, carrying out the reform of the judiciary and law enforcement authorities or ensuring the independence of the media.
Prime Minister Rõivas confirmed that Estonia continues to be ready to support the introduction of various e-solutions in Moldova, which would promote Moldova's reform process and contribute to the rooting of good governance in this country.
In 2016, Estonia will continue to support Moldova's development projects approximately to the extent of 1 million euros, part of which will be implemented with the help of the Estonian Centre of Eastern Partnership.
